Jaya and Abhishek together in 'Drona'
We have seen the chemistry between father and son in two films. Now Abhishek Bachchan plays son to his real mother Jaya Bachchan in a forthcoming costume drama.The mother-son duo will soon be sharing the screen space in Goldie Behl’s upcoming film Drona. They will play mother and son in the film.
However, Abhishek and Jaya have also signed Pardeep Sarkar’s film together but they will not play mother and son in that movie.
Goldie is Abhishek’s childhood friend and they share a good chemistry with each other. In fact, Abhishek has already worked with him in his directorial debut Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai in year 2001.
Drona will be a costume drama with Priyanka Chopra in the lead role opposite Abhishek.
The film is likely to go on the floors by the end of this year.
