Akshay Kumar as Rahgir
The dashing actor is set to star in a movie that is roughly based on R.K. Narayan’s book Guide.The film, titled Rahgir, which means traveller, will be produced by Pritish Nandy Communications and directed by Bengali filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh.
In all probability, the film will have Akshay Kumar playing the traveller. Vidya Balan, who walked away with the Best Debutante award on the Filmfare night, will reportedly play Akshay’s heroine in the film.
The makers of the movie are reportedly planning to aim Rahgir at film festivals worldwide before releasing it sometime later this year.
