A sexy Brazilian girl is being sought to play
Hrithik Roshan’s love interest in the superstar’s next film.
Lady luck is about to smile on some girl with Latin American background. Director
Anurag Basu is persevering in his search for the heroine for his next film, which will be made under
Rakesh Roshan’s banner FilmKraft.
The girl that is being sought ought to have certain distinct qualities – she should know Spanish, she should have sultry, Latin American looks, and she should preferably be a Brazilian.
Basu has so far met many girls, including the Channel V anchor
Bruna Abdullah, who has a Brazilian father and an Arab mother. But Basu has not yet found the woman he is looking for.
The director has specified that the girl will need to play a very bold role in the film. She ought to have a distinct sex appeal and an international face.
There have been rumours that Bollywood newcomer
Sonam Kapoor was considered for the part, but Roshan senior denies it, saying that Sonam does not suit the role.
Reportedly, the Roshans and Basu have zeroed down on more names. The lucky girl may be finalized in the coming days or weeks.

Sunday pulled an unexpected prank on actress
Ayesha Takia recently.
The film, a comedy, has Ayesha playing a central character who becomes the prime suspect in a number of murder cases. In keeping with the film’s lighthearted theme, her co-stars from the film decided to play a prank on her recently.
Ayesha was given an invitation for the special screening of the film at Pixion Studios in Bandra. She decided to attend the event with her mother Farida.
But when the actress and her mom turned up at the event, the security guys did not let them through. They told Ayesha that she and her mom were not on the list of invitees.
On top of it all, the security guys looked at the daughter-mother duo with suspicion and insisted on checking their handbags.
Ayesha just could not believe all this was happening to her. She immediately called director Rohit Shetty , but to no use. Frustrated, she was about to walk away from the venue when
Arshad Warsi showed up with a 100 watt smile on his face.
Cameras of MTV suddenly appeared from their hiding places and Arshad revealed to Ayesha that she had been made a
bakra.
Ayesha took the prank in right spirit and joined the others in laughing at herself.
The Ayesha’s bakra episode will now be shown on MTV. For, she is the channel’s
bakra of the month.
Akshay and Sanjay in Blue
Akshay Kumar and
Sanjay Dutt have been signed by the Ashtivinayak banner to feature in a tentatively titled film
Blue. The film will also feature the
Om Shanti Om heroine
Deepika Padukone opposite Akshay and the search is on for one more hero and heroine.
Blue is expected to have some breathtaking stunts.
It seems that Khiladi Kumar is going back to action in a big way, after delivering four comedy/romantic hits in 2007, we will him in at least two actioners
Tashan and
Chandni Chowk To China next year with
Blue to follow.
This is the second time that Akshay and Sanjay will appear in a film together. The first was the long delayed
Amaanat directed by
Raj N Sippy which was released in 1994.
Amaanat did not do too well at the box office after a decent opening.
