Deepika Padukone gets a role with Akshay
Deepika Padukone’s Bollywood career has taken off well.
It is common knowledge now that Deepika is the heroine of
Shah Rukh Khan in
Farah Khan’s next movie
Om Shanti Om.
Now, the lovely damsel has signed another big movie. She will star opposite
Akshay Kumar in a movie to be produced jointly by
Rohan Sippy and
Nikhil Advani. Advani himself will direct the film.
The highlight of the film will be that it will have Akshay Kumar in a very refreshing role. He will play a martial arts expert. Moreover, the film will be shot in China.
Akshay will reportedly have to train extensively for his role in this film. Even Deepika will undergo thorough preparation before beginning to shoot the movie.
Rohan Sippy and Nikhil Advani, who are good friends, have been scouting for shooting locations in China.
Aamir would like a sequel for Sarfarosh
Bollywood superstar
Aamir Khan says that if there is any film of his that can have a sequel it is
Sarfarosh.
In a recent interview when Aamir was asked as to which of his films would make a good sequel, the perfectionist star promptly replied, "The only film that I can think of off hand which would make a good sequel is
Sarfarosh."
"I think that is one film that is ready for a sequel. The characters are there. It has ended on a note where ACP Rathod and his team can take on another case. Or ACP Rathod can be show as maybe a DCP as times have changed in the last five years.
Other films have ended. You can't have a sequel to
Rang De Basanti. Not with us, at least as we've died.
Fanaa has ended too."
So don’t be surprised if you see Aamir on screen as a DCP in the sequel of
Sarfarosh in this season of sequels.
Wedding bells for Uday and Tanishaa?
Reports are that
Uday Chopra is all set to tie the knot with
Tanishaa,
Kajol's sister, by the end of this year.
The two have been seeing each other for the last two years and are now ready to get married. The couple has the consent of their respective families and is now waiting for them to fix the marriage date.

Vivek Oberoi went on an impromptu date with Miss Sri Lanka last weekend in Mumbai.

Jacqueline Fernandes, a truly gorgeous lady, is in India. On Saturday, she attended a food guide launch at a hotel where she met Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi. Vivek and Jacqueline sat side-by-side and chatted casually throughout the event.
The two got along so pretty well that after the function they went to a nightclub with their friends. The two had a blast there.
But the impromptu date did not end there. Jacqueline then asked Vivek to accompany her to a private party thrown by a producer. Vivek happily went along with her to the party but left mid-way because there were reporters at the party.
Jacqueline has told a Mumbai tabloid that she thinks Vivek is a "
sweet guy".
Vivek had said in a television interview a couple of weeks back that he is looking for love again. May be he is about to find it.

Aamir Khan may come together on screen.
Aditya Chopra, son of
Yash Chopra, is on the verge of pulling off a casting coup as he is all set to bring in two self-styled perfectionists of Bollywood - Hrithik and Aamir together for his next project and for the first time.
Though there is no formal confirmation regarding the same from any of the concerned parties, sources close to the Chopras maintain that the 'coming together of Hrithik and Aamir is almost certain'.
Aamir’s last project with Yashraj Films was
Fanaa while Hrithik’s was
Dhoom 2. And both the projects have earned the production house rich dividends.
